New JSE Listings

It find it annoying to keep track of all the new listings on the JSE. 

(Please be so kind as to assist me if you pick up on new listings.)

1. BGA -  Barclays Africa Group - listed 2 August 2013 (replacing Absa)
2. ATT  -  Attacq - listed 14 October 2013
3. IAP  -  Investec Astralia Prop Fd - listed 24 October 2013

GlencoreXstrata (GLN) has announced it will be listing on JSE on 13 Nov (today).  It will list as one of the largest stocks on the JSE and will thus move into the Top40 Index, with Goldfields potentially the stock dropping out of the index leaving just one gold miner, Anglogold Ashanti in T40.

Future takeover attempt on Anglo American?

I am hoping that when the euphoria wears off that the price will settle back and maybe I get some. Will wean myself off GFI onto GLN  :LHST:

I see there was a late sens from the JSE saying that Glencore will not be eligible until March 2014 for inclusion in presumably the top 40 index

Yes, was on Radio last night. But the radio did day that the funds will start accumulating now allready for the inclusion in March.

Sept 1 (Reuters) - Rhodes Food Group Holdings Ltd:

* Today announces its intention to list on the main board of the securities exchange operated by the JSE Limited

* Offer will comprise an issue of new shares by rfg and a pro rata sale, comprising about 25 pct of holding of existing shares by existing shareholders

* The issue of new shares is expected to raise gross proceeds of approximately R600 million
