Careful what u put on web. Maybe edit above

Was actually wondering about that, but they did send it company wide, so it can't really be meant to be a secret :)

I work for a subsidiary of theirs and they sent out a company wide email about the suspension of the director ... it must be on sens if they sent it out to the entire company??
Just checked and does not seem like they put a trading update out for this. Surely they are required to put out a sens update if a director is suspended??

could be similar, as I know a director has been suspended.
What the market knows though, i am not sure, but highly doubt there will a recovery until some good news comes out or the director is cleared

well, it makes sense for discovery to back them, as it helps discovery with cost reduction. Maybe they have a signed contract with discovery to provide care at a certain rate, which would then indicate that discovery is fairly serious about this??

It should do well, as they seem to have discovery backing them to some extent as discovery is trying to move more procedures into this category, to save of hospital costs. That's what he was saying on the radio yesterday, so might be worth a punt. Not sure if the price of R1 per share is worth it though, as i have not looked at their financials yet, anyone care to comment on that??

Was a really nice free service and I found it very useful. Too bad they closing it down at the end of next month  :'(

Anybody know of any similar sites that offer a service like fin24 did with the dashboard and emailing you your portfolio 3 times a day(saving you having to log in to check, for us non-trader types  ;D  ). Also, the useful company/stock data that makes it easier to do comparisons as well as providing decent divi data??

thanks Moneypenny. I am looking at it for a long play, as its a pretty decent divi payer. I agree though that it has lost some of its luster, but still think its got value in the long haul. Will probably wait to see if it breaches R400 before I get in.

anyone care to guess how low it will go??
Seems a bit of a steep drop. I know about the 16% loss in production, but does it really warrant such a huge drop in the share price??
Is there something else going on here?? maybe more bad news I am unaware of??

Want to know if I should buy more now or wait a few days for the price to drop more??

Dividends are huge, on a normal payout ratio too. One thing to remember is that with property stocks you're not actually getting a dividend, you're getting interest, so it'll be taxed at your marginal rate. Here's the longest term graph I could get:

How do they determine that it is interest when it is paid as divis?? Do they not take the divi tax directly?? are you suppose to declare it as interest in your tax return??
Also, not sure what that graph was showing :) ... mind explaining your point??

Hamster, can you provide more details about the costs involved??
Was also considering investing some cash in here, but not sure about the fees.
Have you looked at the standard bank option as well?? Does FNB work out better??
