Not quite, yesterday a switch partially failed in the dallas data center I use. They claimed it was repaired yesterday around lunch time, but I'm not so sure. I also notice the slow page loads, also not all the time which makes it difficult to bug fix.

I've always thought governments would build their own e-currency, but I guess that defeats the whole purpose of having something that is untraceable and uncontrolled. The fact that it is still not backed by anything of real value is the hurdle they need to jump. What's needed is some way to tie a virtual currency to something real. Perhaps take a bitcoin idea and and somehow assign a value in relation to the world stock market index?

Not a bad bit of listening! To summarise for the others, since 2007 Julia has been investing into satrix with a lump sum of R60k and then every month R5k (+- 25% of her net). Since then she's upped that rate to 33% of gross and living on 33% so pretty much saving 50% of her net (says she earns R840k per year). She's now worth about R1.8m 6 years later at age 32!

And we have yet another consecutive record close yesterday (a 3rd one actually)
