I thought that the R30 000 exclusion was for normal income tax,oops.Also,am I correct in assuming that all the transaction costs in a trade is included in the sell and buy price for tax purposes?

Interesting.DO these technical analysis still apply when there are other variables  such as a market correction?

Also,how is it possible to know if a change in trend is long or short term using technical analysis?

Are you guys selling off your shares at the moment or are you sitting tight?

Im 60% Omnia and 40% Metair.I was thinking of selling Omnia at abit of a loss,and  adding more to Metair.

Would now be a good time to do it?What are your reasons?

My time line is 1-3 years.Only 1 month into investing.

My charting software has indicated a Short on MTA @ 45.35. Target c42.50. OST however does not permit shorts on MTA. Damn.
