Where does one find these stats? Want to add the history for BBET40 and STXDIV.

Just a question, are dividends being paid out into our accounts? Been in a while and I have not seen any dividends yet and both my indices normally pay out divi's quarterly???

This competition is about the 'top performers', and that's most likely to be the person who makes the best bet on an individual company (or two).  In reality I wouldn't be that foolish.  I would (and do) stick to ETFs.  But seeing as this is just a game, it's all about "the punt" and I don't mind just throwing my money on a company like I would on a race horse.

Perhaps. Although it is called the "Investor" challenge and not the trading challenge. Either way I will be interested to see how I perform vs the pickers and choosers and what that says about the different techniques.

The Investor Challenge / ETF vs the world

So looking through the MYBB group I checked all the public profiles and saw that ETF's where scarce and if they where present they where less than 20% of the portfolio. As a big fan of ETF's as a diversified way to invest I am purchasing only ETF's and seeing how I compare against the MYBB board. Not sure how it will work out for me as yet but I would not be surprised if I end the year in the top 20% of the group taking the low risk diversified approach instead of betting on a handful of individual companies. So lets see how it plays out.
