Any chance of add SRR to the list of shares to buy?
-
Done :)
-
Thanx :-)
-
I think it went missing again
-
I still see it
-
It came back after an hour or so. At that same time my shares was at a -100% growth.
All fine now ;D
-
It's been happening a lot lately. I don't know if the service I pull the prices from is having glitches, but it's definitely more common that it used to be. Just don't sell when it's on 0!
-
Something went wrong. Since the share came back up I think the "Investor challenge" game made Jooste resign and now I am back in a minus(-28%). Please fix this promptly! Bloody hell. Everything went so well until this morning. lol

Please add Purple Group PPE and Pembury Lifestyle Group PEM. I know PEM is on AltX board of JSE.

Unfortunately they're both penny shares, there's a R1 minimum in the share price.
When we had penny shares people used to make unrealistic profits on illiquid shares, it didn't reflect what you could do in reality, which is the goal for the game.
-
So when did you make this decision to exclude equities trading below R1?

are all illiquid shares [traded less than 16 times a day-Patrick's definition] yet those shares are listed in the competition.

It was decided in 2014 when we enable selling. People were buying illiquid penny shares and using them to create massive profits that couldn't be replicated in the real world.

Oh dear. I got a spreadsheet from a forum member with the trades per day, it's possible some slipped through. If you have updated info that would be great. The reason for the 16 per day was so that the price would change approx every half hour at least.
