This post got me thinking that I should get going with buying offshore ETFs through Easy Equities.

The only thing that I am still worried about is that I might be creating a lot of schlepp for my loved ones if I still owned offshore ETFs directly at the time that I die if I do not have an offshore last will and testament in place.

Does anybody have advice on where to turn to in this regard that will not cost me an arm and a leg? Is it even that big a deal not to have a will in place?

So, to partially answer my own question:

Easy Equities have confirmed that they would respond to and execute according to a South African will. So no foreign will required when making use of the Easy Equities USD account.  :)
