Android App to track a share portfolio?
« on: October 02, 2013, 04:29:23 pm »
I've been using the Sharenet android app to monitor my private share portfolio for a couple of days now and it works quite well, as you can set up a Watchlist with various shares, that then gives you the Price and movement on a 15 minute delayed basis.

Are there other Android apps available that can do this and more importantly, where you can input the number of shares you own to give you a balance and daily movement of your total portfolio?

I am with Sasfin, and you can actually check your portfolio on net + Phone. Uses Java .... you can also setup watch lists, alerts (I use that allot .. :frustrated:).

Sorry do not use Android as I like my phone small, will 1day get pad thingy........wife has 1....

not to hijack my own thread, but I used to be with Sasfin, but that was long ago - there was only phone trading and their costs were quite high

Yes, agree. But it is like a buffer ring, years ago I wanted to buy something. I phoned my broker, she said NO, and I said yes, I am the boss. She said NO, read this first......She saved me more than my cost over the years. Was JCI Gold ... :wall:

I use "Bread's - rambling of a 1 share portfolio" from the other site  :wtf:. I thus only have 1 share per portfolio. Currently OCE, thus trading cost not lot.

got this reply:( I put the email address at the end for you)

"Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Are you referring to MoneywebTalk, or MoneywebNow, and what device are you using to access it?

I've cc'd our head of IT in on this email.

Kind regards
