DBXWD vs. DBXUS
« on: July 12, 2016, 10:18:46 am »
been thinking of this one for some time

Does anyone have any opinions here? Its seems once again DBXUS has been the better performer

Has anyone switched out from WD to US?

If so what is your long term thinking

Personally I don't see the point of switching to DBXUS. Why would you want to lose your exposure to the rest of the world considering more than 50% of DBXWD is already in the US? On top of that it is more expensive.

I switched from US to WD a few weeks back - I believe BREXIT will rationalize over time :wall:

I'm with those guys too, just because US has outperformed world in the last few years is no reason it will in the next few. Don't tie yourself to one market, diversify.

Guys, been looking at DBX shares to invest in and just received a 'small pot' UK pension of GBP15k what would you buy? Put it all in DBX WD or diversify with say about three different shares?

Would want to buy on the FTSE to keep the funds in the UK.
