Title: TD Ameritrade no longer serving South Africans ... recommendations?
Post by: rvavruch on August 19, 2021, 10:16:38 pm
I received a message from TD Ameritrade yesterday saying they were no longer going to serve South Africans. My account would not accept deposits and be restricted to only closing open positions after November 2021.

I would like to transfer my shares to another "cheap" broker. Any recommendations? Also any experience with the process?

Cheers,

Wow that's crazy. Good news is Interactive Brokers dropped their monthly fee, so no reason not to use them anymore.
