« on: April 16, 2014, 07:36:34 am »
Good Morning All,

I have just received an AQUARIUS PLATINUM (AQP) rights issue ( bonus Issue ) email from FNB,

What do you recommend ? Do I buy more and how does it work ? Due date 17 April 2014.

Option 1: Sell all or part of your rights (nil paid letters). This can be done through Online Banking at .....

(Please note that instructions to sell will not be attended to, this has to be done through the online banking platform or by calling 0860 742 737)

Option 2: Buy additional rights (nil paid letters) on the market (which needs to be sold by 06th May 2014 or exercised by 12th May 2014)

Option 3: - Exercise your rights. The cost (To Be Announced)

(Please note that in the event that you elect to exercise your rights (nil paid letters), the subscription cost must be credited to your Share Investor Account by the 12th May 2014)

Option 4: - Lapse (Take No Action)

HI J

The rights offer is at R2.41 per share 2:1 ratio

The current share price is just over R7.40

I bought them about them about 3 months ago for R6.48

I have Glencore, thus I do like commodities. Platinum is not something I follow, I follow Gold, Copper, Nickel. I suppose it is up to you, I presume u can sell your rights now if you want to?  Thus if you want to invest more into platinum use your rights, I you want to diversify, sell your rights.

My 2c, I will try my luck if I had AQP and use the rights offer.

can you explain something to me, share price for AQP was R8.60 this morning and now its R4.60,

why would it drop so low so quickly  ?

Will it go up from here ?

I have till the 12th to exercise my rights @ R2.41

It is expected that UK Admission will become effective on 22 April 2014 and that dealings in the Rights Issue Shares (nil paid) will commence on the London Stock Exchange by 8.00 a.m. (London time) on that date.

It is expected that South African Admission will become effective and that dealings on the JSE in the Letters of Allocation (on a deferred settlement basis) will commence at 9.00 a.m. (SAST) on 22 April 2014 and in the Rights Issue Shares (fully paid) will commence at 9.00 a.m. (SAST) on 8 May 2014.

Thanks, I see the (nil Paid ) shares reflect on my share account now, If i add all  the shares and divide it by my total cost i come out about a r1 cheaper than the current market price.
