List of Companies on Industrial 25 [JSE:J211]
« on: January 13, 2017, 07:55:54 pm »
Hi,

I am trying to find a list of the companies the Industrial 25 [JSE:J211] is comprised of. I've been searching google but very little information was found.

Can anybody please direct me to a website or post a list?

Thanks!

Patrick

The rate at which it is recovering is making me have second thoughts about selling at 7000...

Thanks Patric, that helped me a lot! Everything I need to know was on that page.  :TU:

Hamster - IMHO 7000 still looks like a good exit to me.

If it will cross and stick above the 200MA in the next few days then it might have momentum to reach 8000 but watch the 200MA closely.

The above site listed by Patrick shows the top 10 holdings, but, more importantly the rebalancing is listed as September 2016 whereas there was a rebalancing in December 2016.
If you are operating on a broker platform and your look up Sens notifications for SATRIXIND it list the full investment portfolio of this ETF plus the most current % holdings
There is a bit of an unknown as to the value of the ETF going forward (I do and will continue to maintain my holdings) as it includes both Steinhoff and Shoprite and with the cross holdings/merges and splits it may change the structure of the ETF and also the % holdings
So some interesting times ahead around the whole SNH and SHP integration

Thanks gcr, I appreciate the extra info. NPN seems to have the majority of the weight (roughly 8 times more than SHP and SNH put together) so my doubts are they will not have much influence on the direction of the SATRIX INDI. SHP and SNH are just there for market indicators. Do some fundamentals around NPN as it seems to direct the trend when the market has chosen a direction. CFR with the second most influence might be able to "veto" the movements set by NPN - so do some research around them as well. I am not bullish on SATRIX INDI short term. I think 7000 or even before it will bounce back as the market is pretty much overbought already. That's just my opinion - I might be wrong  ::)
