Post by: proode on June 08, 2016, 03:57:30 pm
Hi giys

Exited to be part of the forum and thanks for the platform. Im new to investments and need some help if you can please.

Im subscribed to sharenet and when I look at a companies fundemantels the EPS is qouted as e.g. EPS (cents) 214.20.

What I liked to know is the price R214.20c or 0.21420c.

Any ideas?

Thanks guys

EPS is always quoted in cents, so 214.2 means it is 214.2c => ~R2.14

Yeah multiply divide by 100 to get from cents to Rands (or move the comma 2 places to the left as you say)

Dividends declared by companies are also invariably quoted in cents - divide by 100
