OLD PORTFOLIO - ANY VALUE?
« on: July 29, 2018, 11:55:24 am »
Hi Folks, my friend has an old portfolio of these gold shares. I can't find any listed on the JSE anymore.
Are there any valid and have any value please, save me hours of research.

300 South East Rand Gold holdings Ltd (Southgo)
400 Johannesburg Mining and Finance Corp
        (Formerly Consolidated Granite Corp)

I have given up on finding my father in law's Vaal Reefs shares he had over 25 years ago. Found out he had them by chance looking at "MyMoney.co.za" but it seems to not work anymore.
I started here with nothing and still have most of it left.

Woody - make contact with a broker and maybe they will be able to tell you what happened with each company - insolvent, name change, acquired by another company etc
