Wouldn't touch Gijima with a barge pole.
GLN - won't shoot the lights out, but should be a steady bet.
AQP - I'm not into Platinum shares, but could be a good bet if the plat price continues with an upward trend (we all know the ZAR is going to weaken anyway).

Hallo Junz

Like the fact that you have made up your mind regardless of other opinions (even if its only time-frame wise at this stage), that is rule no.1 of trading/investing.

With regards to your Q and I'm only looking at year 1 now:

GIJ:  No
AQP: No
GLN: Fair chance

Check out the Tax-thread and time-frames with regards to investing, important.  Good luck.

Thanks,

Although GIJ has been doing really bad lately i believe it can turn around, at the price it costs the investment is worth the risk for me, just the big question of how long,

Why risk your investment, just buy CML

A while back the CML price was predicted to peak at R92 so with it hitting R90 today do you still see more upside and if so how much?

She will carry on up to at least September results. No doubt about it. I predicted 90 by month end!!!!!

Orca, where do you see it going by Sept? Did you give a price of about R140 before?

I did state 140 by September as the fees paid are locked in and not yet reported in their next trading report. The markets have not done badly to date.

Lookie here. Broken through resistance that is now support. Plus the round number of 90 is also psychological support. Went through with a breeze. Come Monday, we will see if she gets sold by traders taking money off the table.

This is why I wouldnt touch Gijima:

There are many other articles to substantiate this one. I investigated Gijima in late 2012 and found all sorts of articles like this one.

To cut it short Gijima's success in the past has been due to goverment contracts which Robert Gumede has gotten because he is a ANC benefactor. So without his "friends in high places" Gijima wouldnt even exist (i.e. bankrupt).

DO YOUR HOMEWORK, IT PAYS TO DO SO, AND YOU WILL LOSE MONEY IF YOU DONT. ;)
