So the chinese government suspends trading when their market drops but they don't do the same when it's going up. It seems like market manipulation is the norm.

Investing in Lonmin at present is pretty much gambling. I think they've secured enough financing to make through 2 or 3 years. Beyond that if low platinum prices persist, it's difficult to see how they will survive.

I would be willing to take a chance at about 9 cents per share, but certainly at this price. I would also wait until after the consolidation to try to see if there are still traders shorting the stock before putting any money in lonmin.

Nobody can say whats going to happen tomorrow, let alone 2 years from now.

I think Mr Dividend is right. I admit I'm just starting out with this investment stuff but I don't think its fair to expect CML to shoot out the lights every year. Maybe its cooling off for a year or two. Or maybe its entered a phase where it will only grow by about 10 to 15 percent a year.
