Quote. "Ann McNeill, a professor of tobacco addiction at the Institute of Psychiatry at King's College London, said the findings should persuade health experts to embrace e-cigarettes as a useful weapon in the battle against smoking.

"Electronic cigarettes are the most exciting new development in tobacco control over the last few decades as we have witnessed a rapid uptake of these much less harmful products by smokers," she said in an emailed comment.

"The popularity of e-cigarettes suggests that we now have a product that can compete with cigarettes, thus heralding the first real possibility that cigarette smoking could be phased out."End quote.   :TU:

Been vaping e-cigarettes for 27 months now and am pleased to have found the above on Reuters.

I actually find no diffs with my monster Lavatube and Innokin. The taste is exactly the same as REAL cigs except that there are no carcinogens or stuff that can kill you.
E-cigs have become a hobby to me now to the extent that I do my own liquid mixing and build my own coils. Costs me R2 per day now compared to R65 pd.
Over the past few months I have seen an increase of e-cig users openly vaping in restaurants and in malls.
I feel great that I have succeeded to get 8 people to quit tobacco permanently.

Orca, sell your special mix to BATS as they are busy marketing E-cigarettes in the UK, you will make fortune and my BATS shares go up.  ;D ;D

Attended a lecture last night and PNC was on top of the buying list and the concences was that the US debth limit to be sorted next week.
I for one also wait before buing any share, if the debth ceiling is not raised and the US defaults we in for a big correction.

Hi guys, all my taxes are handled by my accountants and submitted to SARS, i might be mistaken i understand as i get a CGT certificate from my broker that all my nett gains are subject to CGT. As i have other business income and supose all gains/losses are added/subtracted together.

I definetely will bring this up at our next meeting will keep you guys informed.

Hick. Burp. Look at the time.
Those guys doing CFD's must be hiding their gains. How can one possibly work out tax when you are doing 6 trades per day?
I find it difficult to do 4 per year.

Orca and all, request a CGT Tax certificate for the Tax Year from your broker, all your trades, gains and losses are calculated for you. My broker is Ned Priv Wealth (previous BoE) and i request a CGT certificate, they charge R 150. and i give that to my accounting firm. I do a lot of trades per year (around 100) and have no problems with tax, pay CGT on my nett gains.

Hope this helps
