In September 2016 there was this report that Brait SE is seeking a listing on the LSE. This seems the logical step for a company with growing investments in Europe and UK. If you have any updates on this, and the expected date, please share them here.

As an avid follower of Christo Wiese, I will start to redirect my investments into Brait SE and Shoprite in anticipation of the tie-up with Steinhoff for the African Retail market. Basically, I will continue to focus on opportunities with exposure outside South Africa.

Have a great weekend!

Slight OT:

Do you trade on the Chinese exchange as well?

I see in your sig you live there?

Definitely something I would like to experience.

Silence from sharenet.

So I wonder now, If I can just use the info? I do not want to step on toes and stuff.
I find it's often a lot more practical and efficient to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.

Fck em! I will proceed.

From the dark web, where else?

Nah, I receive various emails from brokers directly after closing each day. You can also set up watch lists from apps, I love the Bloomberg app & to a lesser extent Sharenet app, for international I use Marketwatch app. You can also set up watch list in PGS online & IG Markets and sort in ascending/descending order, easy-peasy. It's actually very hard not to get it.

That is what I expected.

Look here (2 days ago)

I asked:

Hello, I just want to ask permission.

I currently receive your The Sharenet Daily newletter.

May I create a thread on http://PlatinumWealth.co.za  called "The Sharenet Daily" and then each night post some information form that E-mail and then at the bottom I will give credit by saying this data is provided by http://sharenet.co.za

They reply:

Good day, I have checked and unfortunately there would be JSE licensing issues so we are unable to grant the above request. But thank you for the interest.

I reply:

You will have to be a little more specific than that please - What policy are you specifically referring to?

They reply:

Hi Erik..The JSE has very strict guidelines on us  republishing JSE data on external sites. Unfortunately our hands are tied.

I reply:

Those are delayed prices and according to my correspondence with the JSE is no different than me publishing a screenshot of your site on Twitter like Karin and others do so I'm just trying to get the specific clause you are referring to assuming you know what newsletter content I am referring too.

Silence from sharenet.

So I wonder now, If I can just use the info? I do not want to step on toes and stuff.

Thanks I also added Santova as it seems like it has had solid results year after year. Pallinghurst was bought at around R 3 so not too bad in the last year I think now that Platinum is heading up it will do even better with Sedibelo Platinum and their Gemfields and Iron operations now getting good prices.
Just as a matter of interest I sold out of Pallinghurst at R 3.14 - but this was in 2011 thus why I say they have done very little over the years

Agreed Pallinghurst was pretty meh

How does this compare to Sanlam's Itrader?

I am yet to find a broker to match the Itrade platform besides IG markets.

TAS, Primier Fishing, Rolfes, Consolidated Infrastructure Group, AdaptIT

All in all, I will only buy Rolfes and Tas below 180
