ABSA Stockbrokers TFSA would still be my first choice ITO costs (for your TFSA).

It would be very interesting to plot the effect of the 0.3% admin on your portfolio over 20 years. You are effectively adding 0.3% to the TER of every ETF, no?

The GLPROP distribution was 124.80c/share, on an LDT close of 3227c. Is my calculation of a semi-annual div yield of 3.8% correct? All things remaining equal, this would equate to an annual div yield of 7.7%?

So interest rates have been increased in USA  :-[
And then ZAR breaks R12.80 ceiling (or floor?)???. Overvalued USD based on 0.75% FED increase expectation?

Not bad. I currently use capitec for short term fixed. 7.75% on 7 months. Minimum ivestment amount is a lot higher though.

But to respond to your question, I have no idea how safe AB is.

@Hamster

did you ever get rid of STXIND and move in NFEMOM?

seems a stronger place to be VS DIVTRX moving forward?
Jon, may I ask for your reasoning RE this statement? Just curious, I have not looked at them in a while.

purely because of the high NPN allowance in STXIND , NFEMOM and DIVTRX were looking more interesting and "fair" to me,  basically Naspers wobbles ( or rather tencent wobbles )  and the entire index hurts
I was referring specifically to your NFEMOM > DIVTRX statement.

Good luck.

I wouldn't say you're better off with a fixed deposit, but let's just say there are better ETF options available.

I use capitec fixed deposit for short term saving goals. Like my upcoming trip to Oz. Put the money away so it doesn't get used, earn some interest(7.75%)

A bit of discussion regarding the PREFTX.

Mind sharing the highlights? Can't listen to it here at work.
Underlying assets (pref shares) do not appreciate, who knows what's going to happen to the ahare price, do not buy preftx😅
Did you listen to the show?
