I have stated before even on this forum that Garth is a great trader if not the best in SA. He must have started his TV series as Traders Corner long before he started his own business and created his website of the same name.
The reason I said that his trades seemed hypothetical is that I received his emails long after the fact. He acted immediately to what his charts showed. I could not.

One must also take into account that every trade attracts Income Tax at nearly half of your gains. This is another reason why I stopped. So you can deduct about 40% of your gains as business profit if you are in the high tax bracket.

 

Trading Statement shows HEPS increase could be as high as 41%.  This will bring the PE down somewhat.

BIL share price is 0 in the competition.

I was quite shocked reading that and thought to myself......"Am I going mad?...I don't recall being interviewed".

Those that knowingly take advantage of this type of error should be punished by a fine exceeding the amount made by the error. Is this not "cheating"?

I would leave the EURO alone as Brexit has not yet started and may spread to other countries. There is an off chance that the Union may even dismantle completely.
The ZAR may even strengthen by another 100c against the USD but I would look to move over to USD at this stage.
We cannot expect to make money on the markets for the next few years so we may as well make some with the exchange rate.
