Two reflective mirrors were place on the moon during the moon landing and the distance from the earth to the moon can be accurately measured.

DIVTRX 60% for safety.
Rest in equal parts for alpha in the following:
ADI
PGR
CIL

I an betwixt and between whether Zuma should stay in or get kicked out. Should he stay in, he will stuff up the economy more and the ANC will loose credibility to it's voters.

Not the new CML. PGR is the next CML when markets wake up.
CIL is very cheap with a PE of ~8 odd and despite having stellar financial reports she kept diving for some reason. Now they are in the process of acquiring Conlog, her earnings will shoot upwards.
CIL's share price got diluted with the Rights Offer (issuing new shares at a discount to cover the R175m acquisition)

This is why I don't want a car .... but then again, we have better public transport than SA. For a cost of 1€ I can travel by bus to any part of the city. Reliable and one every hour right in front of our apartment.
The international trains depart 3 times a day from the city center and the Portuguese inter city trains depart every 2 hours.
There is a bus dedicated for the international airport in Porto 65 km from here.

Not that I could drive on the wrong side of the road anyway. http://www.moneyweb.co.za/moneyweb-opinion/soapbox/better-to-own-a-car-or-to-simply-uber/?utm_source=Moneyweb&utm_campaign=90940fdc76-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2016_12_06&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b106a40770-90940fdc76-141299505

Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement. She had more tests done today and we will get the results the 1'st week of December.
Seems it may be MS or MD.

I have not posted here for some time but I have a reason for that. My wife is having medical issues and despite the rigorous tests done on the most sophisticated instruments available, they cannot find anything wrong.

She has trouble walking and gets dizzy. She has lost so much weight and has little control over her legs that are too weak.

I just tucked her into her bed and she started crying as she knows her time is limited. This broke me down. I love her so much.
We were supposed to go to the UK next month to see our first grandchild but I cannot see it happening.

So sad. I am a mans man and and only cry when my horse dies but this is my wife.

Performance wise there is not much diffs between the 2. I bought DIVTRX 15 months ago and so far I have lost 4%. Had I bought STXIND at the same time, I would also have lost 4%. (no divies included)

Only the YTD chart shows DIVTRX leading by 23%.

The 2Y chart shows both at a gain of 5%.

The 3 year shows both at a gain of 28% although the DIVTRX is not quite 3 years old yet.

So performance wise, both are apples from the same tree.

One must also take into consideration that the STXIND was the best performing ETF for many years and when the economy improves and political noise subsides, STXIND may well regain that place. DIVTRX has not got enough history as yet.
