PNC had a half year earnings report of 19.8% gain. No divi as they had acquisitions in mind. Bought PrecisionICT and 30% of Datacentrix.

SENS report states earnings now that they are "pleased" with of 14 to 18% for full year. Wow. No wonder it had the biggest correction ever.

MTA half year was 19%. Their full year is due tomorrow and no SENS. This caused a drop on Friday. Not bad though.

CML is Fully Valued. So it seems like I'm out of the Leaderboard competition.

Red Hot Penny Shares. What a joke. When I was more stupid I joined them and received a booklet that showed charts that showed "Had you invested "here" with R1000" Showing a chart of the very bottom of a stock and "sold" here. Showing the very top of the chart. You would have made 100% gain.
Now with that gain, you could have invested in xyz at the very bottom again and sold at the peak at 200% gain. Cool aint it.
They should be banned by the FSB.

I'm not an analyst but sentiment seems to prevail over charts. We going up and up due to good news lately and it does bother me. Most Co's are coming out with good results lately and traders seem to be ignoring long term charts.
I am not a pessimist but seems strange to me. Hopefully it is not a bubble about to burst.

Long term don't look good for the INDI. The gap between the 200 week MA and the price has grown too large for sustainable growth. She will have to retrace back.

Nios you're not alone. many people don't understand orca  :D
That's what happens when your thumb is too big for the virtual keyboard. Post stuff on the wrong thread. :LHST:
Disregard everything I post after 7.30 pm as I'm normally investing in SAB at that time.

Just got back from my accountant. Seems very bad for me. Short story:

R720k in managed account in end 2007. By 2009, it had dropped to R420K then sold all.

Took over the account myself and traded it back into profit after 3 years.

During this time I never divulged my trading activities to SARS. I did not know that one had to if you don't actually transfer the money into your pocket. Stupid me.

I have now "churned" my portfolio to over R2m.

Now my accountant has put me in a spot. Ask SARS for a VDP (Voluntary Disclosure Progamme) and if granted, the losses will NOT carry over to the next year. Every year will start anew.

Do not ask for VDP and I will pay double the tax owed plus interest and penalties. :wall:

This is a warning to traders that don't divulge their trades. They WILL pick it up.

That's cool Moon. Beats Reuters as I can now draw trend lines without using Screenshot and Photo Editor. Hope the Android App works as well because I mostly use my tablet at work.
We both posted at the same time. The FT.COM was the one I was talking about.

http://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks

That's the only one I know. Daily candles only though. You must add J.J after each ZA stock ie BILJ.J
Then click on the correct stock that comes up. A day chart will open then click on the Charts box.
A 3 m chart will come up changeable to 6m, 1y, 2y etc.
Click on chart styles.

Anyone got better charts?

jaDEB, what do you expect after a good 7 green candle days. Another green? The yearly chart shows a normal small dip in it's uptrend.
I will post a chart with all the goodies as soon as I can sort this freeking laptop out.
