Strong support on the 200sma. She went back down to have a last look at it and kissed it goodbye.  :TU:

Sure did mate. Two crazy guys were at each others throats and clicking "smite" buttons. Then one called the other the "T" word. It was horrible.

Come on guys, play nice

No vulgar language and targeting of individuals. Everyone is here to learn from each other.
Wasn't me. Was my pal alf. He even gave me a "smite".  :TU:

Orca, have you go any idea what's the latest goings on with PNC; seems not in a good spot?

Second half year was rather flat due to exchange rate causing the correction. Two weeks before they closed their year end books, they acquired 30% of Datatech plus some other Co that I don't now recall the name of.
The profits from these will only show in 5 months time so I will hold her in my portfolio. A great Co and divi 18 Nov.
I presume they will give a Trading Statement sooner than the 5 months.

Thanks jaDEB. Yes I do have Metair in my real portfolio. The reasons given are the very reasons I bought it.
Those others are interesting too.

I only use the 200 sma if the share has broken through all other support lines. A break below the 200 on good volumes is a sell signal.
CML is the only share that I know of that respects the middle (20sma) BB and the lower BB.
Other stocks might respect the 30 or 50 sma. You just have to find the right one.
The charts you use don't work on the 2y and longer.

On your charts to get the sma that you want, choose "sma" and the 13 day ma will show. To change it, tap on the sma in the block then tap on the number 13 that comes up. Delete it with back space and type in 50 or 200. Now tap on "update". Done.

I also get a "Holdings Report for CGT" every year that shows my totals of stock brought forward, Purchases, Sales and stock caried over. Then in small print it states that the report is to be used acording to my tax status for CGT or Income.

Just as I thought. Got stuck at 7070. The previous high was 7048 so frustrated traders were selling at a small profit after waiting so long to get out at a small profit or evens after costs.  8)

This May we had a good month. Better than most. So that saying is now defunct and kaput. As to the Indi. All technicals show that a correction is looming for that sector. Then again, the markets are confusing. Happiness prevails with the US closing shop???

Had a look at their website. Not bad gains at all over the years. They have 3 of my shares in their portfolios. OMN, PNC and MTA. OMN seems to be their preferred share as it has the largest weighting in most of their portfolios.
25% pa is not bad as they have some Commodity stocks as well.

As franz Trades about 100 times per year, he surely cannot have held them for 3 years. He is trading and should include it as revenue, not CGT. His ITR will eventually get a red flag and get looked at by human assessors. The new Prescription period is now 5 years so he will have his books audited from 5 years ago.
Same as me.  :wall:

Hick. Burp. Look at the time.
Those guys doing CFD's must be hiding their gains. How can one possibly work out tax when you are doing 6 trades per day?
I find it difficult to do 4 per year.
