jaDEB is correct but to understand this, think of it this way.

PE ratio is the price of the share divided by the Earnings Per Share or EPS. Either of the 2 can be negative to give a negative result but as the share price cannot be negative then it must be the EPS. So negative earnings is the culprit for a negative PE ratio.

Great. It was my ONLY share for years before the guys on the other forum convinced me to diversify. Pity I did but CML is still by far my biggest holding. To think that I was considering of selling off a large part but my intense dislike of paying tax put me off.

Still going. Its been 4 months since I sold my shop and still waiting for PRASA to get the lease on the new owners name and get my deposit back. The government parastatals are soooo slow.
Once that is done then off I go to the white beaches of Portugal.

Feeling lonely with negative returns. Don't. Most of us are there. Look at my PNC. Down over 10% in 2 days and I'm not worried at all. It will recover eventually. 

Lookie here. Broken through resistance that is now support. Plus the round number of 90 is also psychological support. Went through with a breeze. Come Monday, we will see if she gets sold by traders taking money off the table.

She will carry on up to at least September results. No doubt about it. I predicted 90 by month end!!!!!
