The Fourie family seems to know something that we don't. They bought over R20M shares the past few days. I can't see them appeasing investors with that much of their own money if the charges will stick.
Then again, if you look at MTN that did the same last year and the drop was short lived. TIG is another culprit with constant price fixing and major fines.
I will hold on to it.

MTA is not a popular trading stock so I will not be too concerned about short term. For the long term investment guys, this would have been a good point to buy. The RSI is low and the price has hit the 100ma support line.

Bounced off it and made 4.9% today.

Total bought is R18.8M. Pacifying the investors perhaps.

If you are stock trading (not yet held for 3 years) and have a job, then you have 2 incomes. Your trading must be calculated separately by you to Balance Sheet. No matter how many trades you made, you must get a total gain or loss for efiling as a single entry.
The loss will be automatically deducted from your other job income. Or.
The gain will be added to your other income.
If your trading loss is more than your income, then the resultant loss will be carried over to the next year.

As I stated, I don't do trading signals but here is a simple example of how to time your buy area. This is MTA using the 100sma. Each stock has it's own SMA. You just have to find it. If it touches the 100SMA then it is a buy.

Thought this could be a dead cat bounce but see large buyers still lined up.

Arnold Fourie is known as a great CEO that thrives on turning bad Co's around and his cost cutting measures. I still have faith in him to get this sorted.

Apparently the charge was not laid at the time of his arrest and bail. He was only officially charged later hence the SENS was released upon this official charge.
He sold the shares before the official charge was laid after negotiating with Arnold before the arrest.
If you look at the SENS you will see that the Fourie Trust had to sell their futures at strike  price when it expired. They did not sell shares but had to sell at expiry. It was a Put Call. Put Calls expires at a certain date.

I would not be surprised if we don't have a bounce tomorrow.
