There are no support lines for MTA other than the Fib and she is bouncing along it quite nicely. Up 2.1% today.

Been here for 3 months now and enjoying it. No burglar bars to be seen anyware. No aliens whatsoever if you get my drift. Have not seen one beggar or drunk.
My first thoughts were before coming here was chicks with moustaches and underarm hair and overweight. Not so at all. Most are refined and seem to have genes that developed good muscular bodies and so far have not seen any large chicks. Perhaps it is the fish diet.
Many men have left for foreign employment as there are not many jobs available here. This is why there are so many more females here than men.
If only I was younger.
This part is only for the single guys here.

Ola jaDEB. Haven't been studying stocks for some months as I still don't have a laptop. Super expensive here due to VAT at 23% and importing is out the question as it Is discouraged by adding 60% duties and VAT.
Here is a chart of the top 40 that shows we are in a Buy area. Can't draw lines but if you draw one on the bottoms since end June, you will see that we are well below support.

I agree jaDEB but for certain stocks only. The average PE of the Alsi should stay at the same level.

« on: September 05, 2014, 02:10:31 pm »
CML's share price is largely dependent on how the markets perform. Here are approximate figures for the Top40 and the Indi over 3 years.
Top40
22% over the past year.
25% ave. pa over 2 years.
26% ave. pa over 3 years.

Indi
25% over the past year.
35% ave. pa over 2 years.
43% ave. pa over 3 years.

As these are average pa figures, the performance this year is rather lower than prior years. This is reflected in CML's results that fell from 102% to 69% (HEPS).
For the 8 months of this year she has gained just under 30% and for the past year she gained 50%. Substantially less than the 130% pa ave. Bear in mind that the market was flat November to end February as was CML. Her spectacular performance of 102% in December did not reflect on the share price due to low market sentiment and the negative comment by the CEO did not help either. The words "Turbulence, lumpy and Not sustainable" come to mind.

The 69% increase in HEPS announced in May sent her slightly down. Now if excellent results do nothing and great results send her slightly down then what will get her to perform as she did 1, 2 and 3 years ago? Those days are in the past and thoughts of a repetition is a dream.

I am quite happy with 30%pa that I'm sure she will do at minimum being the most successful third party fund manager in SA.
The fact that Foord and Investec recently upped their stake to 5% in CML. Not to mention the Goliath of fund managers PIC that added CML to their holdings last week. They now hold 10.2% of CML's shares. This gives me some comfort as they bought close to R100.

Got sorted. Thanks. ES File Explorer works with StickMount app. The TV's USB ports seem to only work with the native OS of the TV and it shows media only. It is after all a TV. The USB port on the android stick works with the android OS.

The XBMC and OneClickMoviez beats me. OneClickMoviez seems to be a website hosting movies and XBMC has a lot of apps.

What do you use for a remote P? Mine came with a IR mouse but only has a range of 2m and it is a shlep to use.

Before we moved to Portugal, I downloaded all my docs on a flash drive. Now I want to print them but I don't have a computer. What I do have is this----

Android tv Stick with spare USB port plugged into my TV. The tv has USB ports as well.
A wireless printer paired to the tv via the printer wireless app. It works as I have printed pdf, xls and pretty much anything off the net.
The tv has Adobe Reader and ES Office downloaded.

Problem is that when I plug the USB flash drive in, it sees the media files on the flash drive but not the xls or pdf.

I also have a tablet but can't find a 32 pin to USB adapter here. Pretty sure it will also not see the documents. Any help out there will be appreciated.

I followed jaDEB's strategy and sold PNC at a low and bought ADI that is sinking just as fast.
ADI had reached support but broke through it.
