On future ECB easing:
“I would say that the Governing Council is comfortable with acting next time but first we want to see the staff projections” that will be updated next month.
In the USA:
Initial jobless claims dropped by 26 000 to a seasonally adjusted 319 000.
In pre-market now, opens in 10 min, futures S&P -0.18% Nasdaq -0.37% Dow Jones +0.08%

Lately I find, I don’t have my head in the game any more.
Anybody else’s rhythm also screwed with all these public holidays? I don’t know what’s happening in the world any longer, so I’ll just leave you with his useless but appropriate Westlife crumb I've heard this morning:

That's what all the people say
You're riding high in April, shot down in May
But I know I'm gonna change that tune
When I'm back on top, back on top in June.’

Platinum strikes hitting hard, seeing one of our greatest exports is plat. And to think, if Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia & Swaziland trades were omitted, we would have had a deficit of R21.16 billion. (Hope it was C.O.D.)
