Thinking of retiring from my RA and putting the money into a living annuity. Anyone know of a provider that has a low-cost offering where I can invest in some decent global ETFs?

For me, regular purchases of ASHGEQ 1200. Weak ZAR doesn't help, but who knows where it will be in 6 - 12 months time.

Too risky for me. Hope they come back from the brink as they are quite well managed. If they could get a few of the regional SAA/SAX routes, they could do very well.

Ja, hang in there. I bought 400 at R160, then 600 at R90, then 3000 at R35. I'm back in the money (just), but they should be good when (if) oil price increases by $10/bbl.

I use my credit card quite a bit when traveling overseas. Standard bank have implemented a 2.75% transaction fee. (last year was free).

I think Investec charge 2.5% Anyone know of local banks that don't charge this??
