EPS is always quoted in cents, so 214.2 means it is 214.2c => ~R2.14

This one has become very cheap, definitely a bargain down here, and somewhat of a rand hedge

Very nice trading update this morning (http://www.sharenet.co.za/v3/sens_display.php?tdate=20160128080800&seq=3). On a very low PE and with that kind of growth I think this one could double in a year...

So they have acquired the license for Dunkin Donuts - http://www.sharenet.co.za/v3/sens_display.php?tdate=20160122090000&seq=5

Personally I don't think the donut market in SA is big enough (and even more so since Krispy Kreme already here). But then again South Africans are sheep and like to act like they live in a First World Country, so maybe a market can be created....Your guys thoughts?

I guess the problem is that language and culture are tightly linked.... and besides there is not a language in the world which has an equivalent word for lekker :-P

Your universal language is a good idea in theory but not so easy to implement in practice...

I like Rockcastle - done well for me so far.
Just something to consider is if the structure of the company is a REIT or not - If it's a REIT then the dividends they pay are treated as income (well local ones anyway - pretty sure international ones would be the same)

Fair value of the market? One way of valuing the entire market - an average of the Relative Valuations of the Top 40 shares. Currently we seem pretty close to fair value.
