Yes, I am trading with them, but with **seriously big caution** because of the nature of them. It is educated guessing, but is fun because of the instant reward component - or it is going to make a drinker of you because you get so depressed losing Brokers should be regulated just as other financial service providers by the FSB if they operate from within South Africa. But the biggest brokers are based in Europe (Cyprus) and you should do your research into them before signing up.
There was something read in the press the other day about countries like Belgium banning them because it is not real "trading" and is rather gambling but with financial terminology.
That said, there are strategies to come out on top over time so while I trade Forex most of the time, I have started reading up on different strategies and even robots that can help out. TradeForexSA has a section on binary options strategy and the bottom the forex education page, but beyond that, it is hard to find information on how to pull this off well on South African websites. You can follow something like this on Twitter to get out the more educational stuff.
So yes, I have invested, just with a serious warning on knowing what I am doing.
