Any shorter term traders around?
After all the panic selling this week around the survival of Cell C... BLU finally seems to be bottoming out again.
Tested & bounced off key support, slight RSI divergence also evident.
Possible target --> 4.50 - 5.00
Stoploss --> 3.25
Any thoughts on this trade?

Hi all, I currently have two stock brokarage accounts, one with Standard Online Share Trading (personal protfolio) and one with ABSA Stock Brokers (TFSA, signed up before they started all there shenanigans  :frustrated:). I'm looking to consolidate these two accounts with one provider, Probably Easy Equities.
For all those that have moved over how has the customer service been with EE? Have you experienced any website downtime etc.?
Also I know a few people have complained about execution prices not matching market prices, has any one experieced this?

He really seems to like these companies and some of them seem to offer value eg. Rolfes and CIL

Most of Pinnacles earnings are from ITC distribution, 85% from SA and 15% from the rest of Africa.

Towards the end of last year Christo Wiese sold all his lousy assets into Convergenet in exchange for shares at R 2.50 a share (Mine Restoration, Goliath Gold, Digicor and Tellumat, although I do believe Digicor and Tellumat have got some value). They then did a share placement and raised R 150 mil at R 2 a share. Management got shuffled, they renamed the company and moved from the technology sector of the JSE to the investments holdings sector. Oh ya and Mr Wiese is now a 28% share holder. They recently spent R 50 mil to buy out BlackStar groups 16% stake in Cadiz.

Anybody here consider Stellar Capital Partners? Same team who put Torre Industries together are involved in it. Currently has a NAV of R 560 mil according to an interview with the CEO I watch , that gives a value of R 2 per share. The current assets are however quite lousy (Goliath Gold, Mine Restoration etc.) but in time they'll probably sell these and build a much stronger portfolio.

@The Trader, could you please explain how rising interest rates could have a positive effect on gold and platinum. The way I see it, rising interest rates entice people to leave there money in savings accounts and to buy bonds. Rising interest rates also drives down inflation, from my understanding this should reduce the price of gold or am I missing something out?

@giggsie I wish I could honour all the credit you giving me, unfortunately I can't.

No crystal ball and no luck, unfortunately :-[ But rather just an anomaly within the competition (well at least half of my gains last year). Not really sure if I should expose this anomaly and allow more individuals to cheat or just keep it a secret, as I myself promise from this point forward to play an honest game  :) (and no it has nothing to do with the 15 min time delay).

While I'm at it I would like to thank everybody on this shareforum for there amazing insight and opinions, always appreciated. Truth be told I only learned about the stock markets  one year ago. During this time spent in the market I've come to realise that investing seems to be more profitable and low risk compared to trading (please feel free to prove me wrong). I have therefore adopted a long term value investing strategy focused on small caps with good growth prospects.

My real life portfolio at current:
ISA
Pinnacle
Conduit Capital
Santova

I'm looking to add:
Metair
Peregrine
Master Drilling
Sasfin

Any thoughts?
