« on: September 24, 2021, 10:44:32 am »
Portugal has a new visa for non EU nationals to relocate permanently aimed at passive income earners or pensioners.
If you earn at least R11 600.00 pm as a single person and increasing to R16 800.00 for a married couple. (today's FX rate)

The Portuguese have always been very accommodating in allowing foreigners in. I'm planning to head there early next year, on a spousal visa if my citizenship hasn't arrived by then.

Good to hear from you again Orca. Where in the world are you, and how is life treating you?

Hi Patrick. We are now living in Gloucester  near our children. Very happy here but missing SA somewhat. Especially the beautiful beaches and braais.
Portugal was great but 5 years was enough for us.
I started here with nothing and still have most of it left.
