VOIP question.

I don't have wifi so used to call my kids in the UK using GoogleTalk once a week. Now it has changed to some other name after updating it and only does messages or video call. The voice only is gone and it is too expensive for video call.
Downloaded Skype and see that you first have to buy €10 "airtime". I suppose you pay for internet as well as the airtime.
Any suggestions?

Orca, computer to computer skype is free, call or video call, i speak to europa or the UK everyday week for business and speak to family in norway, internet data usage you pay for.
Calls to landline or mobile you have to pay.

Thanks Franz. Is a Samsung galaxy tablet a mobile? Seems that any android device is considered a mobile.

What Franz means is that calls from skype to skype are always free. Calls from skype to anything but skype are charged. So find the skype name for the other person and dial that, don't dial their number.
