Hi all

I just want to say a big thank you to the people that created and are maintaining this website. You guys rock.

To everyone that posted and shared their knowledge and opinions...Thank you.

I've learnt so much. Cementing all the readings I have done on websites and books. In this selfish day and age it is refreshing that people are so giving with their ideas an way of thinking. Thank you again for making me a better investor. You know who you are. I do appreciate it.

Have to agree, the people here are great. I wouldn't even be in the stock market if it wasn't for Orca, and the stuff I continuosly learn from the rest of the crowd is fantastic. Strangely the exact things Orca said that motivated me to get my ass into gear and invest decently got him banned from the other forum. Can't figure it out???

This is what these forums are all about. Helping each other. Thanks Patrick for the heads up and I thank you too for pointing me to ETF's like the relatively unknown DIVTRX that I am now mostly into.

@chang I got banned permanently from the MyBroadBand forum by going against the wannabe pack leader and her lapdog promoting RA's and UT's over my direct JSE stocks.

Definitely one of the more 'evolved' financial forums out there, these guys are not too bad. ;)

Yes, this site is good. nice mixture of different thinking.

The darkside had a fall out, HDB left.. below was his last post. Think lot of people also left with him.

I read through HDB's thread. Seems like it started with jealousy of his great trading skills and escalated to a Jewish guy with an avatar of Bin Laden with rifle cross-hairs on his forehead attacking HDB's avatar of George Bush with a tooth missing as he is a Muslim.  :LHST:
Then it escalated to a warning about giving "advice" which is prohibited by the FSB for unregistered advisers.

 :wtf: These are after all investing forums. We don't offer advice. We discuss stocks and I for one love posting my opinion on certain stocks only because I am getting on in my years and am getting forgetful.
At least now I have a place to go to read why I bought a share.
