Title: Cost Effective Preservation Funds
Post by: CuriousAlf on June 19, 2017, 10:39:11 am
Hi Guys,

I am switching jobs soon and would appreciate some advice on where best to move my current company provident fund (to a preservation fund).  My criteria is fairly simple: 1)it needs to be a passively managed reg 28 fund!

Which manager is the most cost effective (TER, platform fees, etc.) with the best reputation? (Sygnia, 10X, Nedgroup Core).  Has anyone done some research on this matter which they are willing to share?

Would really appreciate some help.

Thanks,
CuriosA

Thanks Patrick,

Seems like Sygnia and 10x are the best passive options.  Most of the other passive reg 28 funds can only be accessed via a LISP (which is not ideal in terms of cost).

Regards,

Alf
