Just for fun, let's see who can call it. My guess is that it will be just after the constitutional court gives judgement on the Nkandla issue. Since we have no idea when that is, I'll just guess:
29 April 2016.

My view is that he will be withdrawn after the municipal elections where the showing of the ANC will be a disaster and the NEC will dump the blame on him and save themselves some face.
I think the bigger problem to be faced by the Zuma saga, is not his withdrawal but who to put in his place - so far Mbete, Duarte, Squirrel and the double barreled Zuma are all in contention but there is no unanimous choice so this is their dilemma. The NEC meeting this weekend may give more pointers especially since our jovial (but brainless) sporting minister has also been targeted as a Gupta appointment by Juju

Prosecuting corrupt members of government might act as a deterrent but it's not actually fighting corruption (it only puts a stop to the instance that was uncovered). Fighting corruption would be putting more overwatch in place so that this type of state capture cannot grow (it's real it must be stopped) and cannot happen in future (until they find another loophole in the overwatch). We are still miles away from having proper watch dogs.

OK, I'll be the overly optimistic one and say within the next two weeks
-
If Zuma does not leave office tonight then it may happen over the weekend. If he has not been suspended by Monday then the NEC will keep him if office to his term end in 2019.
The Guptas will be charged for their intention to corrupt.

Those 2 points right there will make my day.

I also think Gordhan must now be bullet proof. I still think they'll wait for the concourt to rule against him but then he'll go.
-
I see Mmusi Maimane laid corruption charges against the Guptas earlier today.

I have a bet on with my neighbour that Z will be out within 2 months. Neighbour says no ways, and chances are he is going to pocket R10-00.

After the weekend. :D

If JZ gets impeached, he will loose his state pension and his security at his citadel.
He knows that this is possible and may step down instead to avoid that but he may hang on for his pals to pay for the Nkandla non security improvements.
One problem with that. If his pals donate him the money, then he has to pay a further 40% odd extra as donations tax. :LHST:
At this moment he is one scared president. He knows now that he cannot make any changes to ministerial portfolios and the NEC also knows this after the Concourt ruling where they were themselves rapped on the knuckles.
So in effect, JZ has of now no power and his pals will distance themselves from him. He is on his own now. Left to his own demise. Good riddance JZ and go herd your cows until the can of worms opens further as it will.

I am a bit unclear about something. He took money that was not his and a court has now ruled that he has to pay it back. Isn't it actually theft? Why is he not being sentenced? ???

Graft has a minimum sentence of 15 years and as to theft.....I don't think they will pursue that as it will affect the economy severely. It will involve the Dept of Public Works, the Dept of Finance and many individuals such as procurement officers, tender officers etc. Not enough beds in the prisons.

Time for part 2 of this contest? It seems as if the teflon man is coming unstuck. I predict a week after the state capture report is released.
-
The guy is like a cockroach and just seems to survive through everything.
1 month after state capture report is released...
-
Patrick.... from your lips to god's ears! But JZ is a better survivor than a cockroach in a nuclear storm.

Zexit from where ? It's not that easy being even most advanced country on the continent and if Britian can sustain itself I think we will do much worse and it's not worth that. That's just my opinion but here corruption and income of people are just on another level
