PNC
« on: July 01, 2013, 03:38:56 pm »
Another great stock to have in one's portfolio is Pinnacle Technology. An unstoppable, high growth Co. with forward thinking management at the helm.
Their frequent acquisitions will ensure long term profitability of the Co. The most recent one was 30% of Datacentrix which they acquired last month and paid R237M in cash. In Dec. last year they acquired JAG Engineering.
Here is a 3 year chart that compairs it to CML.
I started here with nothing and still have most of it left.

You will see that CML made a thrust upwards to get to 500% while PNC made no extra effort to do the same AND she kept her PE low all the time. A stunning performer.

jaDEB. OCE is often on the Biggest Movers of the day up and down but the trend has been UP for long time. Just hang in there.

I'm curious Orca, it doesn't look like you added any PNC in the competition this month. Why not?

New auto sales picked up in June so I added to MTA. She has been flat for a long time and should pick up soon.

Second half year was rather flat due to exchange rate causing the correction. Two weeks before they closed their year end books, they acquired 30% of Datatech plus some other Co that I don't now recall the name of.
The profits from these will only show in 5 months time so I will hold her in my portfolio. A great Co and divi 18 Nov.
I presume they will give a Trading Statement sooner than the 5 months.

Tried to buy some since yesterday @ 2020, but my order just didn't get filled and today, after asking about it and getting some more info (e.g. from you), it suddenly shot up to over 2300

Even at 2300 it is cheap but I personally would not buy anything until USA saga is sorted.

Attended a lecture last night and PNC was on top of the buying list and the concences was that the US debth limit to be sorted next week.
I for one also wait before buing any share, if the debth ceiling is not raised and the US defaults we in for a big correction.

Did you not see that HotStoxx picked you as the hottest stock in your hot sector? What is wrong with you? Don't put the blame on the ZAR again you idiot.
