Do you think it will drop to a lower price than it is now before it climbs again?Or is it possible this is the last time we will see her at this price?

Im betting on the former for now.

Sold some CML shares so that I could add to MTA but it she just kept climbing.  Stocks normally go up this time of the year so it might just be the last time we see this price.
Will do some tech analysis after close and see if I can predict something.

:wtf: Was it me or Coronation or perhaps Investec that caused this sudden surge?  :LHST:
Reminds me about one guy on the other forum saying I was promoting CML to the extent that it rose from R12 to where it is now.

That was HDB's accusation some years ago. There is a word for that and I can't think of it now. Something like "hyping".
Now I must start "hyping" MTA up for my benefit.
Jokes aside. Been trying to buy her for my competition portfolio but she has made a "lampole" formation so I must wait for some other move. Just my luck and she will make another one.

Well, there she goes. The word I was accused of with CML was "Hyping". Well, I hyped CML up from 24 to 80. All by myself. :LHST:
Now I am hyping MTA up from 42 to 97 by year end. If not 109. :TU:

Don't have charting software. Use Reuters and draw my own lines.

My charting software has indicated a Short on MTA @ 45.35. Target c42.50. OST however does not permit shorts on MTA. Damn.

Fundamentals will negate this short. After all, fundamentals override technicals. More so with non trading stocks as there are no traders to act on the chart technicals.

Public Investment Corporation, Investec and Coronation have made major acquisitions in Metair over the past few months. Now these 3 Co's are not to be scoffed at. After all, they are investing huge amounts of pension money into it.
Coronation bought millions of shares but could not do so on the market as there were not that many available. The price was negotiated and made off market.
This major purchase by a reputable Co that cannot after all these years put their name to shame. They must have done some homework to pick MTA. Coronation is after all the best Investment Co in SA and has been for many years. Perhaps not the best performing, but by the most Plexcrowns they achieve year after year.

Results out in 5 weeks. Expect around zero % profits due to costs of their Turkey acquisition and the 2 month strike. A trading statement should confirm this soon.
